Led by pianist Martin Hallmark, Cambridge-based quartet Q3 join us this evening to perform tracks from their 2024 album “Water-Speckled Midnight”, which combines jazz with latin, funk, Arabic and mediterranean influences.

Describing their music as “quirky, melodic and highly listenable”, Martin formed Q3 following an inspirational period of study with Chick Corea in 2012.

Also featuring in the band are tenor saxophonist Kevin Flanagan (a familiar face in the region’s jazz clubs and festivals), Tiago Coimbra on bass (full-time member of Resolution 88) and astonishing multi-instrumentalist Chris Diamand on drums.
