The Best in Comedy show returns to Maddermarket Theatre this October with another top line-up featuring the wonderful Lucy Porter, Fatiha El-Ghorri, Jimmy McGhie & Tadiwa Mahlunge!



Lucy Porter is a well-known face on TV from such shows as Live at The Apollo, Would I Lie To You, Have I Got News For You and QI.

A veteran of the UK comedy circuit, she has performed 13 one woman shows at the Edinburgh Festival and taken her comedy all over the world from Las Vegas to Cape Town

Underneath Taskmaster star Fatiha El-Ghorri’s colourful hijab is a mind full of cutting observations and engaging witticisms on the life and times of a British Muslim woman. Already racking up a score of on-screen credits, Fatiha has made appearances on The Jonathan Ross Show, The Russell Howard Hour, Outsiders, Stand Up Sketch Show & Big Zuu’s Big Eats.

Jimmy McGhie has performed stand up all over the world and appeared on numerous television and radio programs including the BBC, Channel 4, Comedy Central and many more.

He regularly provides the studio warm up for The Graham Norton Show, Loose Women and Deal or No Deal.
