The Best in Comedy show returns to Maddermarket Theatre this August with a great show featuring the hilarious Rhys James, Janine Harouni, Matt Richardson & Eleanor Tiernan.

Rhys James is an accomplished comedian who you will have seen on Live at the Apollo, Roast Battle, Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central A League of Their Own and as a regular panellist on Mock The Week. He has performed six solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe to sell-out audiences and critical acclaim, with his show ‘Snitch’ being one of the best reviewed comedy shows of the year.

Janine Harouni is a UK based Lebanese-American comedian who was selected as one of The Guardian’s Top Ten Comedians to Watch

Janine stars in the ITV2 sitcom Buffering and can be seen as Carla in the DC Comic film The Batman. She was a writer and performer for 2 seasons of ITV2’s sketch series The Emily Atack Show. Other appearances include: The Russell Howard Hour, Comedians Giving Lectures, The Stand Up Sketch Show and The John Bishop Show.
