A long-standing friend of the club, unbelievably it’s been 9 years since his last appearance with us at the Maddermarket Theatre – but he’s back!

Gilad is probably best-known for his long association with The Blockheads, well-regarded projects of his own such as The Orient House Ensemble, as well as performing and recording with household names such as Pink Floyd and Robbie Williams; meantime his new European 4Tet has been touring throughout November.

Additionally an author and outspoken political commentator, Gilad is often controversial, frequently humorous and always entertaining. Expect an evening of fiery and impassioned interpretations of the great jazz standards (often infused with a Middle-Eastern flavour) and backed on this visit by the NJC Trio.
