Wrongly condemned and outcast from society, a poor weaver becomes a doomed miser and recluse, until he is forced to take in a young orphan girl. Their mutual friendship leads to joy, love and his redemption.
Set in the early years of the nineteenth century, this heart-warming piece, is performed by an ensemble of cast of seven professionals actors accompanied by music and songs of the period.

Presented by Conn Artist Theatre Company in association with Worthing Theatres and the George Elliot Fellowship and supported by Arts Council England.
