East Norfolk Operatic Society presents
By W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan
Ruddigore is Gilbert and Sullivan’s take on all things Gothic: a satire on Victorian melodrama with bad baronets, a witch’s curse, ‘professional’ bridesmaids, and a picture gallery that comes to life. Sullivan’s sparkling music is complemented by Gilbert’s witty text, making it one of the most attractive of their operettas. So, join us, as we journey from the picturesque Cornish village of Rederring to the haunted castle of Ruddigore for the Ghosts’ High Noon.
