Front-of-house and bar volunteers play a very important role at the Theatre, ensuring the smooth running of our in-house and visiting productions, and providing a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.
Typical roles for stewards include:
Volunteer stewards should be 18 years and over.
Stewards are required 45 minutes before a performance, typically 6.45pm for a 7.30pm performance or 1.45pm for a 2.30pm performance.
Stewards are required to wear smart, black clothing and will be provided with a badge for identification.

Bar staff should arrive 90 minutes before a show to assist in setting up the bar and serve drinks and confectionery before the performance. You will be required to work behind the bar until patrons have left the building after a show, or when the Bar Manager advises. This may be as late as 11.30pm. Volunteers serving behind the coffee bar may leave earlier, after the interval.
Bar volunteers should be 18 years and over.
